I had a problem keeping it away from the keyboard. So I bought this and it works. I also have a cat bite wand and it's fun and convenient. I was worried about getting the cheapest one because it wouldn't be as good, but this one is great. Moon is heavy and loves snacking, and the suction holds it up very well. He likes to watch the lizards play on the windowsill and I can work in peace. Delivered easily in a day in less than 5 minutes and I'm not mechanical lol.

It wasn't easy to assemble and seemed to stay in the same window well even with my cat. But in the next window it kept falling, I don't know what accounts for it, maybe it was warmer in the other room. It's also kind of revealing, it's got black mesh and white PVC piping with a blue plastic stick on the pads, it's not very aesthetically pleasing. Eventually I opened the windows too much and it didn't work when I tried to let the curtains halfway down.

This cat perch with mesh resting area for our cat is perfect but the materials are quite DIY PVC pipe. You want to make sure you have enough window space since it's 24.5 to 25 inches long with suction cups. The suction cups are great, when I put them on they didn't move at all. Our little guy is quite athletic and likes to hop on his perch and at first I was afraid he would knock him over, but the suction cups held up well. For reference, our cat weighs about 10 pounds.

This is actually a very sturdy window seat for a cat. The only problem is I agree with other reviews that it's difficult to suck properly. I washed the window thoroughly and made sure it was dry, I even heated the spots where the suction cups were going to be placed so the temperature of the window and the suction cup were the same. Don't have the cat jump on it right away, leave it there for a couple of hours and see if it sticks. Otherwise, like my cat, they won't want to come back to him…
