Ideally matches my 12V Gerbing gloves Handling multiple heated garments, check the Product specifications on current limits!

Cheap. suitable for testing, measuring and verifying reasons

I hooked this up to my powerlet jacket liner and it worked great for 5 minutes. Then it stopped like a doornail. The vest works great when plugged directly into the battery, so it's not a backup. Avoid this if you don't like hypothermia.

NOT FOR HEATED VESTS

This controller almost completely melted when I connected my Harley-Davidson heated vest to it. The wires got hot enough to smell like burning electronics in less than 10 seconds. I turned it off right away. I bought two so I tried the second one just in case the first one was just an accident but the second one did the same thing so DO NOT buy them for HD heated vests!

I should have known it was too good to be true!

Well it worked great for a trip. I suspect my heated vest was drawing too much power for this tiny device. Otherwise I looked perfect in every way; It was small, easy to use, regulated the vest's temperature for about a ride, then melted in the middle and ran at full power by default. There are still nice lights but is otherwise unusable. I went from joy to confusion. Maybe other users have better luck. I don't think it's infant mortality. Such a small device just can't handle the power demands
