Excellent 9V NiMH batteries - I use them in my smoke alarms.

I have a lot of NiMH batteries. mostly AA and AAA but I have enough C, D and 9V. First, EVERY rechargeable NiMH battery needs a quality charger to get the most out of your batteries. Re: These Tenergy 250mah 9 volt batteries, this and Tenergy LSD - Low Self Discharge are the best 9v batteries I have ever used. They hold a charge for a long time. I switched all 7 smoke alarms in my house to it. If you use them in smoke alarms, just make sure you have a few spares to replace that "chirping" smoke

They do their job UPDATE: Actually NO, they've never done it before. e 3 out of 4 rubbish.

There are 2 green/red/white from tenergy, one died young and the other is still alive. Spare parts were needed and another device was added that required 9 volts so I got these. an old 9V battery that is still in use today simply no longer has the runtime. I hope one of these 4 will still be working in a decade. daily use. UPDATE 4/2020, 3 out of 4 were scrap, didn't even get used for the first time. took the last one out of the box and charged it, lay on the charger / it said fully chargedโ€ฆ

Don't waste money.

I don't normally write reviews. However, I have rarely been so disappointed with a product. I bought these batteries about a year ago with size in mind. I could use them as backup batteries in my smoke detectors. This would prevent constantly spending money on this replacement every year. They all came fully charged and we're working fine, but as soon as they started charging, disappointment set in. The first two didn't load at all. My smoke alarm kept beeping. I tested them in other toys andโ€ฆ
