These batteries destroyed two of my solar lights

I bought these to replace some of the worn out batteries in my solar garden lights. After I put the battery in my first flashlight, I heard a soft *clap*, the LED blinked and went out. I figured it might just be a coincidence so I tried a second flashlight with a different battery. This time there was no cotton, but the lights went out too. Not for Solar Panels

After reading reviews of these batteries I thought I might be one of the lucky buyers who thought the batteries were great for solar panels. Unfortunately I'm unlucky! For a few weeks I have been trying to successfully use the batteries in our solar street lights. I tried them with different lights just in case one or more of our lights were broken. Takes a long time! on AA

ok i used this brand nickel cadmium batteries from tenergy damn it i still have a few of these in my solar lights (which stay out all year) over a year ago and 2 months ago when was the last time I bought them and now I've just bought 24 packs for a decent price. These mAh batteries are not at the maximum. "Make it so that they just sit idle around camp".
