This Bluetooth device is a life-saver for Electronics enthusiasts looking for waterproof, quick and easy-to-use equipment. It's compact, easy to carry around and doesn't require much technical knowledge to set up. The Bluetooth connectivity is stable, and the waterproof feature is reliable, making it a rescue if you accidentally spill water or coffee on it. Good idea but generally works well. Scanning with it is a bit tricky. It takes a few tries to scan the code. This is partly because the aiming laser is a square and I'm trying to scan 1D barcodes. There is no good laser line to align with the code. Setup takes a little time. Be sure to disable barcode types you don't need. I like that it's Bluetooth. Very easy to connect. This is a very portable barcode scanner. Bluetooth pairing with Android works great, although on some phones you may need to turn the setting back on to see the onscreen keyboard, as it disappears when the scanner is active. As other reviewers have noted, unless you're working in low light, you have to use the QR code to turn off the LED backlight. It would be nice if the details page had a PDF manual with QR codes and barcodes for switching features/settings so you could open it on your phone…
