First of all, my husband is special. Clothing should feel comfortable and not be too heavy to wear. Those are his priorities! That fits the bill! It's very light but keeps him warm when he's out in 25 degrees! They are very soft and silky! This is the only brand he will buy and we have bought it twice already. I love her!

Like Mr. Bastoki, I've worn the REI version of this silk t-shirt, but my opinion is the opposite of his. I've found that a REI t-shirt wears out quickly and doesn't last more than a season. This shirt is way better. I wash them on a gentle cold-cold cycle and let them dry on a wooden frame. Very satisfied.

I should have listened to other reviews saying it was very thin. I was hoping it would be similar to the old set I have but they must have changed it. My old set is really thin and I like them for that reason, but they aren't that thin. I've used this and it works, but it's too close to wearing a tube-like material. The material itself feels soft, thin and quite warm (relative to its thickness) and feels like pure silk as advertised. I would like to keep the top, but the sleeve length is too short for me.
