Great mug but the lid won't stay open in less than a week. Fortunately, a person can buy an opening lid online instead of the hinge type, which apparently still requires a lot of work.

My mom loves this mug! She likes to drink coffee slowly and often cannot finish it because it cools down too quickly. Now she uses this mug because she can drink it as slowly as she wants and each sip is as warm as the last.

I just got this mug and today is the first day of use, the lid on my mug doesn't close all the way, leave it open how are you doing so my drink doesn't spill and nothing gets into my drink? For the amount of money I paid for this mug, it should last longer than if I took the lid off twice and tried putting it back on only to find it wouldn't close all the way.

I bought it as a gift for my daughter who loves Mickey but she couldn't use it at school because the teacher doesn't allow it, it leaks with such a lid . I tried to shower her teacher but failed after a few weeks when my daughter used. Now it has been banned. And the back window was closed. I wish I had returned it sooner without trying to show the school. Now he's useless in our office. It's a shame to spend double money on a useless thing here.

I've never tried a YTI glass, but due to the difference in price and appearance, this option suited me better. Mickey Mouse graphics will NOT wash off or tarnish, they are hand washed every day. These are just stickers on the mug and will peel off the bottle over time if you are not careful. Lid doesn't close fully as if removed from mug (not very secure, especially with hot drinks). The lid also has a small hole at the top which, if you're anything like me and like to tilt your head all the way back when drinking water, gets in your face and splashes a lot.
