My last coffee cup had a lid but no drinking hole lid, so I always spilled my coffee on the way to work. It has a lid for the drinking hole to prevent spills. The design is super cute. The best part is that it keeps my coffee hot for hours! I make coffee at home at 6:30 am and take it to work. Sometimes you can't drink right away. It's perfect for me because at 8:30 when I get the chance to drink it, it's still hot. My last cup couldn't keep warm that long, it would be cold when I drank it.

Nice and solid product. It's not a screw cap, I didn't notice the rubber o-ring in the cap. The cover is not screwed, but just snapped in. But so far we haven't had any leaks. Remember this is not a protein bottle. As for hot cold drinks. ah i don't think so. It is solid and protects your hands from hot coffee thanks to the double walls. I love this mug and use it every day. However, the travel cap has a very high brim, which is difficult to drink from, especially while driving. It also awkwardly fits in cup holders. That's why I use my Nespresso mug at home because it's safer than glass and nicer yet insulated. I would recommend the Yeti for travel due to the functionality of the lid and ease of drinking, as well as better insulation. UPDATE: 9/2020 - I still use this mug every day and it's been over a year since I first got it. I threw away the leaking and unusable lid shortly after receiving it and mostly used it at home. Now that we're all working from home, the design is even more precise. I highly recommend this cute mug. Just keep in mind that this will be a homemade mug and not something to take away.
