Saved my fish - Pet Content - Dog Main

Arrived on time and as described. We live 120 miles from a pet store that sells these things. Two of my large cichlids got a fungal infection after laying their eggs and I was worried they wouldn't survive. I had to work and couldn't get my medication so I ordered these and hoped they would arrive on time. It arrived in 2 days and my fish made it. The fungus disappeared within a few days. They were a little crazy and hid in the ship's decorations for a few weeks, but are now fully recovered.

DO NOT BUY: Pet Content - Dog Main

I bought these to treat 1 fish that turned out to be sick. Well, at the end of 5 days of this remedy, 5 fish got sick and the original one was no better. All my fish have until the 4./5. Eaten and swam normally all day, and then nobody ate and they hardly moved. On day 6 I changed the water and by the end of the day they were showing more life. None of the fish have the same manifestation of the disease. Everyone has different symptoms, even in the same breed of fish. Don't buy unless you'reโ€ฆ

If you don't know why your fish are sick

I've saved more fish than I can tell with this product. I keep freshwater fish and sometimes things go wrong in my aquariums. I don't need to diagnose what the problem is, I just do a 25% water change and add these pills. (Crush them up before removing them from the foil pouch and dissolve them in conditioned water before adding them to the aquarium.) My fish are as good as new the next day. We treat a full 7 days. And do a water change after you finish your treatment. Read all directions andโ€ฆ

This is a GREAT deal - less than HALF the price of mine.

This is a GREAT deal - less than HALF the price at my local pet stores. Worked well to free the ick in my 55 gallon tank but it takes a lot. It took me 2 packs to complete a 15 day treatment and I'm not sure I got rid of them completely (it was a BAD infestation). Switching to IckGuard after a water change is only because it is better for a large aquarium. I lost a few fish but don't blame the product. The ic was bad and there are simply no options for sensitive fish (char, catfish etc.). Mostโ€ฆ

Doesn't work for me.

I was hoping this would work but am still having trouble with what my fish is having. I noticed that my fish had snapped fins. Then the next day he lost part of his tail, I panicked. My poor Betta. Went online, read reviews, bought this product. I used it for 7 days and changed the water as instructed. My fish is still having problems, the fin has barely grown back in three weeks. I used this product again for another 7 days after taking a few weeks off. My Betta is unhealthy, won't swim andโ€ฆ

Saved our goldfish!

We purchased two Pleco rubber spouts from our local PetSmart store. Little did we know we were buying fish that were carrying diseases. Plekos brought with him septicemia and ichthyophthyriasis. We added them to our goldfish tank and our goldfish developed blood poisoning. The septicemia progressed rapidly. The goldfish became lethargic, sitting on the bottom of the aquarium and barely eating. Within 24 hours of taking Lifeguard, the goldfish's condition improved significantly. Within 48 hours,

Slow and steady is the name of the game.

First of all before adding any chemicals or treatments. TEST YOUR WATER! And make sure there are no ammonia/nitrite splashes. Treating an aquarium with a disturbed/disrupted nitrogen cycle will only increase the stress on the fish. If you see ammonia or nitrite, take care of that first. Add zeolite and do an emergency water change. After changing the water and lowering the level, start doing daily water changes. Now about how I use this thing. I swear by this thing. New fish, strange behaviorโ€ฆ

  • Can be used as a prophylactic when adding new fish

Short story = Bought a black moorland goldfish which infested the other 4 goldfish in my tank. Whether it was all of these medications or a combination of raising the temperature and adding aquarium salt, my original fish were cured of the disease after 10 days of treatment and all are very happy again. However, the Black Moor did not survive, perhaps he was too young and weak/sick with an illness to endure the temperature change/treatment. Details = So I made a huge mistake by putting a newlyโ€ฆ
