Teva Highside '84 Mid: Superior Style and Comfort for Outdoor Enthusiasts Review

I have had very picky legs since I injured my left leg and had surgery for a torn cartilage many years ago. Teva is one of the few brands that my feet love. I wear this highside shoe a lot because my feet are so happy in it with the support and secure fit behind the ankle. I have wide feet and this shoe is perfect for my wide feet. If you have a narrow foot, it may be too wide for you.

I like these shoes. They are super comfy and cute! I see some people complaining that they are too wide. objectively they have a blocky appearance, but they are not full of holes. I always thought my feet were pretty narrow because I have pretty thin bones and they fit comfortably without pinching my toes or feet. They have really good arch support for the thin foot, which is what I've come to expect from a Teva shoe. They are a bit pricey but I think the comfort is worth it.

Waaaaaaaa! These shoes are everything my feet could have hoped for. I wanted some retro kicks and they fit right in. Reminds me of my dad's hi-tech hiking boots from the 80's. I usually wear an 8.5 as well, but here I chose 8, they fit exactly how I hoped. (A little small for most people, but I love my casual shoes. If I were planning on hiking in them, I'd get a 9.) Very light and comfortable shoes. The color is nice and the blue piping on the bottom makes the shoe pop. You have enough space to put on a thick sock. I tried on 10 in store and they were a bit small for me and 10.5 was out of stock so I ordered 11 online. I was afraid they would be huge as I wear a size 10 in about half of my shoes and an 11 in the other half. I have flat feet with narrow heels and splayed toes and these fit perfectly. I just opened my long awaited Teva and I am so happy with these shoes! I was concerned about the sizing and was torn between a 7 and 7 1/2 when I read they run large. My foot measures 9.33 and I ended up at 7 1/2 which is good. I wear thick socks that help fill out the broad area of my toes. I have narrow feet, but although the shoes seem big to me, thick socks don't. Very convenient.
