It works out. As! in Security and Surveillance

I was trying to use this as a pilot flame detector for a water heater. The first problem is that (as of April 22, 2021) there is no product data sheet that can be used as a guide when setting up the sensor. The second problem is that to detect a natural gas igniter it must be within 19 mm (0.75 in) of the flame, where it is too hot to remain intact, and can destroy it in seconds with the burner on to catch from propane, butane and large natural gas flames. Even with incandescent and…

Pros
  • with a flame sensor to keep a certain distance, so as not to damage the temperature sensor, the flame lighter test distance 80cm, for a larger flame the further the test distance
Cons
  • thin
