Since I'm quite small, my visor no longer protects from the sun at all from about 3:00 p.m. when driving west, even if my seat is adjusted as high as possible. This extension looks and feels a little cheap, but it definitely does the job. I no longer have to take my hand off the wheel to protect my eyes. Overpriced but worth the money if it avoids a crash. Works in both forward and sideways positions.

I imagined a better product. The drop-down screen is difficult to put down and put back again - trying to manipulate it while driving is distracting and potentially dangerous. Part of the reason I bought it is because it has a retractable side window, which I found exceptionally useful. However, on my car, it doesn't pull very far until it either locks or blocks the rear-view mirror. As my title suggests, I think you're doing yourself a favor if you can find a better sunscreen than this.

This is exactly what I was looking for. The type I bought before had such a problem. It had an elastic band to wrap around the visor. Whenever I wanted to block the sun on the left side, I pulled the visor to the side. Then I had to pull it down, stretchy and all (to get the right coverage), and finally I broke my mirror. I have an early morning commute to work and my car has almost no built in visors (google: BMW 228IX lol) so it looked like an easy cheap solution. After using it daily for over 2 months the corners are chipping on all sides so I'm not sure how long this will last.
