Without keratin, my hair is 2B. And in the Florida heat and sun it fails, though I find it hard to resist the use of hot styling. I saw mixed reviews for this product but my previous shampoo and conditioner were out of stock so I decided to give it a try. When I bought the shampoo it was very watery. I figured I would have to use a lot to get good lather. I was pleasantly surprised to see that I didn't have to use more than my other shampoos and conditioners on my natural thick 4c gel hair. Excellent glide and maximum moisture! I have hair type 4B, it's curly curls and curls. I also have low porosity. That makes moisture retention a big priority.
