I ordered two of these. The first didn't work, the second didn't either. I also ordered two Emerson remotes and neither worked. I am so disappointed. I received credit for my first Visio console so I can order a second one. So I wasted my money and it cost a lot, it's not worth it. I would like someone to test such products before shipping.

The remote control works perfectly. No problems with my Vizio soundbar. However, you may have to fiddle with the Bluetooth button on the controller and the soundbar itself. Apparently Bluetooth is interfering with the remote's connection to the bar. Our remote didn't work for about 2 weeks until we accidentally pressed the Bluetooth buttons (similar to syncing an everyday device). Now it works great.

Ok I have had and have been using this item since January 2018 I couldn't find my controller so I need one. I almost bought this because of the negative reviews. Having used this article for two months since January, I question these negative comments. I haven't had any problems from the start until now.
