I left this out in the pouring rain in my cement yard. Well the brown has melted and stained my patio! Not the end of the world, but I had to make a mental note to keep it inside and only take it out when actually using it. I was expecting something that is 100% weather resistant as advertised, but it isn't. If you have a wood deck or darker patio (or better drainage, mine is admittedly uneven and filled with water) then this might not be an issue for you.

I bought this natural coconut coir rug with a non slip backing to replace a similar rug that had been sitting next to my front door for about 12 years. It is outdoors but under a canopy and partially sheltered by aluminum railings. This old rug was similar in design and appearance to this new rug. I know these shoes are sold for both indoor and outdoor use but to be honest I'm not sure if they can be worn outside where it rains can, let alone mud from the shoes. We've used it outside on a patio for about a month where it rains occasionally but is mostly weatherproof. I really liked this beautiful rug. I haven't seen him in my apartment building yet. It cost $25. At least it was on my doorstep (which is indoors) for the first 2 weeks. This rug is beautiful (appearance is the only reason for 2 stars) but not practical for outdoor use. I had it on my porch with new carpet underneath. Within a week of being outdoors (rain and sun) the carpet's paint had bled onto the carpet underneath, completely soiling and ruining it. I spotted this in my house because I plan on drawing my own drawing on it soon and wanted it to have time to flip and lay flat, but to my VERY PLEASANT SURPRISE it rolled right away out and lay straight down!
