Amazing Update - Heatsink

Got this large thermal pad for my Zotac 3080 Trinity OC. I ordered this large pillow so I will have an extra one in the future. After installing I only used about 1/5 of the entire pad. These new thermal pads immediately reduced my VRAM temperature by almost 20 degrees from 100°C to 83°C. I would recommend this to anyone with a 3080/3090, especially those mining with their GPU, but it's a great upgrade for those who want their GPU to be the latest.

Perfect for changing pads on RTX 3080 MSI Ventus x3

I had trouble running RTX 3080 MSI Ventus x3 cards for long periods of time. Oil was leaking from the OEM pads and the video memory was overheating (>100 C). After replacing the thermal pads on the card, the temperature on each card dropped to 70 degrees and they stopped padding. The cards required 2.0mm and 2.5mm for the heatsink side of the card, using 2.0mm for VRAM and 2.5mm for VRM and capacitors. Do not use alongside a 3080 FE GPU chip

(There are no two sidebands in the picture, please do not use this picture as a reference) I'll take this as a life lesson, but those 2mm are either slightly thicker than 2mm or just don't compress like Gelid Extreme. I spent 12 hours fixing "GPU hotspot temps" that went up to 105C and it turned out to be due to them being used on the die side for VRAM. For the back, they seem to work well. Must have for your RTX 3080 overheating

Completely solved my memory temperature issues on my Gigabyte OC RTX 3080. Dropped from 106-108°C at 100% fan speed and thermal throttling to a stable 78-80°C Fan speed 65% while degrading eth. Gigabyte and other manufacturers should have used these platforms in the first place. If you have the same card and want to fix high memory temperature issues, you need 2mm spacers between the memory chips and the heatsink. Not a gel but a good one

Changed the thermal pad on my Aorus Master RTX 3090 the stock was down to horrible thermals on the video memory down to thermal throttling. Let's say I was pretty sure I had the wrong thickness but after a week or so the temp went up and I checked the bolts and the pads sank a bit and they were completely loose. The 3mm pads turned out to be slightly thinner than my standard 3mm pads on my msi rtx 3080 ventus x3. I didn't measure, however, but every listing/article on the internet said the standard pads were 3mm. These pads work great when they match perfectly. I replaced the standard junk pads (which got worse over time) on my Rtx 3080 Aorus Xtreme because even at +0 memory clock the card reached 110C memory transition temperature, which is ridiculous! Double stack up to 2mm for memory chips because I wasn't sure what I needed so I got 1mm pads. After swapping all the pads on the card and adding some on the backplate, the card now runs on 72c-74c memory on a cold night and high 70s during the day. mass

Saved my cards for internals

These pads saved my EVGA 1080ti SC2 cards and my Aorus 1080 cards Before I used these pads both cards had artifact and shutdown issues. Now I can throw anything at these cards and they work like new. Unfortunately, I wasn't able to stress test the Revain's New World loading screen, but I'm sure these cards would handle it.
