650W Computer Components

I was honestly scared to buy this based on all the conflicting reviews but so far it's worked great, powered my new PC and it's sooo quiet you can hear it and it came pretty quick on. The only issue I had was the item was held at customs because the seller didn't provide a shipping invoice, but after I sorted it out it turned up 2 days later with no dents or anything! I'll update if anything goes wrong with it and how long it will take, but I would recommend it to a friend.

Cons
  • Unfashionable

No problems getting my entire new install to work.

I recently built a new system with Ryzen 3600 and RX5700XT. Works like a charm, haven't had any issues and I've hooked up a lot of things to my PC. 1 NVME, 2 SATA SSD, 1 HDD. All 7 USB-A ports are closed and I even use the USB C port. Good power supply for the price.

Cons
  • Big and chunky

8 pin melted best in computers and accessories

ruined a brand new graphics card ruined. As I walked, I smelled something burning. When opening the case, the 8-pin cable was very hot and smoke came out. Sorry, the picture only shows melted 6-pin because 2-pin cannot be connected. PSU and graphics card wasted.

Cons
  • you could choose a newer model

Died after 2 months, otherwise great

It was an excellent share. I liked that I couldn't install extra cables. It was also very quiet and easy to install. But mine died after a few months. I opened it up to possibly find a fuse, but there was no fuse and no visible burn on the controller. Since I opened it up, including the secret screw behind the sticker, I assume I broke the warranty so I threw it away. I probably just had a factory defect and could have replaced it under warranty if I hadn't been digging.

Cons
  • piggy bank price

That's all she wrote

Ida flooded my basement and water got into my power supply. I had to order a new one on a budget as I couldn't afford to replace the fully modular 850W Gold PSU. So I got this Thermaltake 600W 80+ Gold. Pocketed it and that was all she wrote. Works great on PC with VR support.

Cons
  • A little wrinkled

Works so far - no surprises

I got the 450W version delivered on 7/7/2019. Installation wasn't a problem as I've done it before and I know what I'm doing. In any case, everything worked out of the box and has been working for the past 3 weeks without any problems (knock on wood). And it's been without power a few times, so I think it's the goalie. I was initially a little confused by the lack of a 4-pin CPU power connector, but it turns out the 8-pin is actually just two 4-pins pushed together (and easily split into two…

Good Quality - Computers and Accessories

It was smaller than I originally thought. I appreciate all black cables, no ketchup or mustard. Also, the cables are flat, so cable routing was much easier than if they were round. Very quiet, easy to install and powers components. Appears to be well built.

Cons
  • I will add later

First of all the power supply works in the power supply function but oh my god they made it cheaper. If I spent an extra $30 for a better model, you think that would be equivalent to higher quality, right? nope The cables are ridiculously short and it took a lot of clumsy repairs and workarounds to get to my motherboard. I have a medium sized ATX case, not big at all, and every other power supply I have can reach the motherboard, but this power supply seems to have been custom made to save as…
