I got the 450W version delivered on 7/7/2019. Installation wasn't a problem as I've done it before and I know what I'm doing. In any case, everything worked out of the box and has been working for the past 3 weeks without any problems (knock on wood). And it's been without power a few times, so I think it's the goalie. I was initially a little confused by the lack of a 4-pin CPU power connector, but it turns out the 8-pin is actually just two 4-pins pushed together (and easily split into two 4-pins be able). . Pen). If I have any complaints, it's that even the smallest model in this series (450w) is about 2x more in terms of power for the system I plugged it into. This system is just a cheap microATX motherboard with a low-end i3 processor, integrated graphics and - one - a cheap SSD. I could probably get by with half the performance, but I wanted something proven and guaranteed for five years. But I disagree that this (450W) is the youngest model that Thermaltake makes in this series. I wish they could make 350w or even 300w and sell it a little cheaper because I *really* didn't need that much power. But that's the game now when it comes to power supplies. Manufacturers force you to buy WAY more watts than you really need, which is annoying. Also, I'm not sure I see the point in having 4x 4-pin molex connectors. I didn't need any of them. thermal take? Why not just give us 4x the SATA power connectors and include a pair of SATA to Molex adapters for those rare souls who really need them? PS I also have a Thremaltake 550W PSU which I am using in another system that has been running 24/7 with a TT PSU for over 2 years. So far there have been no problems here either.
