Unfortunately the design of the go kart I own is like this.

Unfortunately the design of my kart is such that the muffler touches the driver's shoulder. I tried a heat pack but it also burned. With a slight modification of this original design, this works very well. No more burnt shoulders and racing suits.

Pros
  • Keep exhaust fumes from jetting in a certain direction
Cons
  • Something else

Very nice and easy to fit Heat Shield

I needed a heat shield for my air compressor discharge pipe. I couldn't find anything that would work in an industrial area so I started looking for a heat shield and this one came to mind. It fits perfectly on the air compressor head and prevents burns if you hit it. The head tube is very hot but the screen is cool to the touch. Many Thanks

Pros
  • Heat Shield
Cons
  • Slightly dented

Quality label.: Heat shields

Five stars as it solved the problem and works exactly as advertised at a reasonable price. The side panels of my Can Am RS were too hot to burn my leg. The header pipe ran just a few inches behind these fairings. Adding insulation to the back of the panels helps some, but it's not enough. Facing that sign was exactly what the doctor ordered. You can put your hand on the plates after an hour of driving and they're no hotter than any other part of your body. Screen components, including clamps…

Pros
  • Spare parts
Cons
  • Can't remember
