The first one sent to me was clearly tampered with and grossly inaccurate. I contacted the company and they were very professional and sent me a replacement. The new device is more accurate, but the display is dark and can only be used indoors. For the price if you just need something to work with indoors it will work fine, trying to use it outside for grilling is out of the question. Great company, not a very good product.
