Inaccurate Voltage: Electrical

Bought because it was recommended countless times for doorbell cameras. However, this transformer generates more than 24V, causing my Logitech Surround View doorbell to constantly overheat and the camera to stay warm for a few days before eventually shutting down. The 27+ volt output from this transformer is above the 24V limit of my camera. In addition, the transformer itself is very hot. I had to turn off the device and let it cool down a bit before removing it. This transformer might be…

Works great with Ring Pro -- Updated September 10th -- Some issues

My old transformer fulfilled the minimum requirements for the Ring Pro, but sometimes the doorbell would warn of low voltage. I chose this as a replacement. Installs very easily. It seems to be of high quality and there hasn't been a low voltage warning on the doorbell since I've been using it. I recommend it if you need a new toroidal bell transformer. Updated 9/9/19. High quality low hum transformer

This is an excellent transformer, very robust and well designed. It has a very low hum that can be heard when the transformer is pressed against the wall of the can or screwed to the can. If it's loose, you probably won't hear anything. However this is a large transformer so pay attention to the dimensions shown in the product photos as I have a standard 2 gang box (approx 4 x 4 inches) and this transformer will barely fit in there with cables.
