Review on 🔌 Advanced 24V 40VA Transformer for Nest, Ecobee, Sensi, Honeywell Thermostat & Nest Hello, Ring Doorbell (Style 1) by Gregory Chaitanya

This is an excellent transformer, very robust and well designed. It has a very low hum that can be heard when the transformer is pressed against the wall of the can or screwed to the can. If it's loose, you probably won't hear anything. However this is a large transformer so pay attention to the dimensions shown in the product photos as I have a standard 2 gang box (approx 4 x 4 inches) and this transformer will barely fit in there with cables. It actually sticks out a bit, but the wall panel (barely) hides it. The photo shows how tight it is (I sealed the contacts with tape). I hooked a voltmeter to it and it read 27.1 volts - definitely enough to run my Eufy doorbell which requires 24 volts. I recommend it but I give it 4 stars instead of 5 because of the noise. Size is a small issue but as this is a well built product a large size is to be expected. I'm pretty sure it could easily power at least two or three devices.
