I would not recommend Thetford.

The pump is junk, the pump stays on and fills the toilet. Thetford does not stand behind this product and the cost of a new pump is almost the same as the cost of a new toilet.

Pros
  • Caravan parts and accessories
Cons
  • Not as good as advertised

The perfect spare part. but overpriced

Perfect replacement for the Curve Porta Pot! Possibility to rinse again after use! $100 The price was high. You could almost buy a new $130 pot for that price. However, I would always repair whenever possible rather than being wasteful and throwing away what can be repaired.

Pros
  • Toilet Replacement Parts
Cons
  • Definitely a bad product

My pump failed after a ride

The product looks well made and is easy to use. I read reviews about the failure of the pump, and after cleaning it, I took out the batteries. When I tried to use it again, the pump wouldn't start. Replacing the batteries with new ones didn't work, a replacement pump is more than a replacement toilet with a hand pump.

Pros
  • Interior
Cons
  • Damaged

The pump is supplied without installation instructions or instructions on how to remove the old pump. There are no videos or instructions on their website. First remove the top of the old pump and battery. Find two hooks on the top edge of the old pump. To remove the old pump, use a screwdriver and insert the holes in the top of the old pump, twist the screwdriver to rotate the pump and break the old pump's seal. Remove the old pump, but hold on to the water supply when disconnecting. Connect…
