The pump is junk, the pump stays on and fills the toilet. Thetford does not stand behind this product and the cost of a new pump is almost the same as the cost of a new toilet.

The product looks well made and is easy to use. I read reviews about the failure of the pump, and after cleaning it, I took out the batteries. When I tried to use it again, the pump wouldn't start. Replacing the batteries with new ones didn't work, a replacement pump is more than a replacement toilet with a hand pump.

The pump is supplied without installation instructions or instructions on how to remove the old pump. There are no videos or instructions on their website. First remove the top of the old pump and battery. Find two hooks on the top edge of the old pump.
