The drive screw is not as long as the shoulders! What a colossal design flaw. Here you can see me trying to pull out the bearing mounted on the end of the shaft. The screw is fully extended and the levers don't even engage the underside of the bearing. This puller will NOT work on bearings mounted closer than 10mm to the end of the shaft. But, hey, they saved 5 cents a unit by cutting the drive screw an inch.

Love this item! I had a very stubborn camber bushing on my 1990 Bronco that rusted and wouldn't come loose. I even bought a very expensive hub puller designed for this specific application but the ears on the hub broke off so I was unlucky.
