NOT shimmery. Don't buy if you need to use pads.

NO SEAL BAG. (The description says it can be moved. It's not.) DO NOT BUY IF YOU NEED TO INSTALL GASKET. NOT a thinline product. Manufactured by "Shenandoah" in Taiwan. It's a decent pad, but I have to use jumpers. It's useless to my horse. Beware!

Pros
  • Good product for the price
Cons
  • Hard to say

Not as shown, not as described

This is not Ultra Thinline as shown. It does not accept pads as described. It is made in Taiwan, not in the USA. The pad I received says "Shenandoah" both times. In fact, I called Thinline to ask about this product. The pad as pictured and described is your pad. But in fact they sent me a model that is no longer made, does not have the same characteristics and is not the right size.

I'm too poor to shop cheap!

Thinline makes the best saddle pads. They are extremely close together, eliminating the bulk that is characteristic of traditional western saddle pads. They offer around 30% more protection for the horse's back, spine and flanks. They can be brushed off with a damp brush. They weigh nothing. They don't wear out. They don't slide. If you haven't tried a thinline pad for your horse/saddle, you're definitely not playing with big guns.

Pros
  • One year trial
Cons
  • Available in white only

PERFECTION! I wish it was made in the USA.

I chose Thinline's signature pad because the straight bottom, profiled back, and thick felt pad didn't do what I wanted for my small Mustang footprint. Horse. I have other pads but this one is the best! I'm impressed how it fits her short, tall, razor sharp back. Perfect. I would like a different color, but it's enough for experiments. It was too hot to try on the trail but if I just put it on my back it fits snugly and I've never had a pad like this before. I wish it was made in America but it

The best rug I have ever used!

, I have a Fox Trotter from Missouri. Her saddle is a custom saddle with a short skirt, so I don't really need a lot of padding. I just needed some light padding and something to keep my saddle clean so it wouldn't slip and slide and at the same time it was comfortable for her. . This pad is the best pad I have ever used with a saddle! This gives just the right amount of padding to ride, with a little more along the spine on either side. It has no slip and sweats evenly. We ride cross country a
