They are very thin as advertised but small and thin

Pros: These glasses are compact. As stated, they are very thin. They are light. The spring-loaded case is slim and well made to keep your glasses safe. It closes beautifully. Conveniently fits in a pocket next to your phone. Cons: Glasses are very thin. The arms aren't spring loaded at all, so they just dangle. They seem very fragile because they are so light. I get a little nervous when dealing with them. The lenses zoom as expected, but the field of view is limited in the center. If you lookโ€ฆ

Pros
  • Brilliantly made
Cons
  • disappear

Comfort with a compromise

I bought the readers to carry around in the utility pockets of my tactical pants and they work great for that. I was very pleased with the strength of the metal body and the thin profile. They are easy to put in and take out of your pocket and well protected in your pocket. That being said, the glasses are quite thin when worn, which is a trade-off. If you can be gentle with them when wearing them, you won't have a problem. The glasses are comfortable because they are so light, the optics suitโ€ฆ

Pros
  • Quick change
Cons
  • Too stupid

Good reading view, very light weight, very comfortable

I have the original thin 'nose pinch' optic and it works great for quick menu scans but is a bit annoying with prolonged use. New lenses with thinner optics work much better for me! Inconspicuous in your pocket and practical when you need reading glasses on the go. I recommend it.

Pros
  • Very good value for money
Cons
  • unreliable

Doesn't block blue light!

They failed the blue light blocking tests. Do not be fooled. They're very thin and light, but not for the better. I felt like I would break them in half just by taking them out of the packaging.

Pros
  • Best in Niche
Cons
  • Unbelievable Price

So, full disclosure, I have several pairs of Thinoptics. I have the original style and keychain that sits on the nose. They work VERY well for dark restaurants. But I feel a little silly when they stick out of my nose when I'm using a computer or reading a book. It's the best balance of great readers with a slightly yellow tint that blocks blue light. I was a bit worried about the yellow color as the picture looks very yellow. They also have a magnetic case! After all, they're fragile, so don't

Pros
  • Few competitors
Cons
  • Almost never
