I had one with yellow tape. This is what I'm using for the future. It's lighter than Scotch Gorilla and lasts longer than Stan's.

I touched my rims and they worked well enough. I washed the discs with isopropyl alcohol and they were sparkling clean. Of course, there are better quality tapes, but this one will do. At first I had leaks but the sealant solved it. Next time I'll take something more expensive, I don't know how long this band will last.

The tape doesn't have the right adhesive and won't stick to the rim. See what's happening with rim tape in just a few weeks. Full of cheap junk rim tape. You're not saving any money as you'll have to rip it off the rim after a month if you even manage to keep it airborne. Not as easy to install as other rim tapes. In my time I've made at least 8 sets of discs, I won't be using this tape anymore.

This is cheap rim tape - go to your local bike shop for good stuff. This stuff doesn't go through easily and gets jammed, leading to tire sealing problems after you put sealant on it. My sealant ran out which wasn't a problem prior to purchasing this rim tape. It's also usually more expensive than what you can buy at your local bike shop. It didn't cost any money. It also doesn't have room for a valve stem, so you'll have to make it yourself - if you make it too big, the sealant will come out…

Some people have had trouble with this tape, but when the rim is properly prepared and the tape is properly applied, it works great. I did 4 wheels and everything is perfectly sealed. The rim must be washed with alcohol and dried. Rim and tape must not get cold, do not stick. Do this on a warm day or in a warm place and it will get stickier.
