Too thick to remove the spout. Breaks bottles regularly. You can find a bottle opener anywhere (anywhere else) as long as you don't care about spouts.

Very strong bar wrench! I love flexing mine and it was impossible to lay down so it's very strong. The only thing I don't like is how sharp the edges are and how I can't turn the opener.

Sharp edges. Be careful. Solution: When you first open the plastic wrap, remove both tools. Rub the sharp edges against each other at angles, twisting and turning the tools to rub all sides. After a few minutes of rubbing, the stamped metal edges become dull enough to touch without cutting your fingers. Otherwise a great product at a great price.

I'm a bartender and I use this thing all the time. I bend the tip about 20 degrees at the hole where the cap goes in when you pry it off. This kink gives you a more favorable angle to get better leverage to pry the cap and requires a shallower angle to hook the cap, meaning you won't "miss" as often.
