The cover I received was made in India but without the country of origin information it could have been considered domestic.

please change the screws

not a bad product for such a price. The screws should be at least a quarter inch longer. And using a slotted head instead of Phillips screws is just an unnecessary headache when you need to hold the lid open and install the screws at the same time. A Phillips head screw allows you to hold the screw at the end of the screwdriver with your fingertip and install with one hand.
