Great for home brewing

I decided to buy a little more. The thing is not only strong but also very accurate, with a long probe, I'm very satisfied.

Pros
  • 8 inch stainless steel probe with piercing tip for measuring internal temperature
Cons
  • Could have gone for a newer model

Great for home brewing

After my previous cheap digital thermometer failed when exposed to boiling water during a brew day, I decided on something more permanent. Not only is it durable, but it's also very accurate and has a nice long stylus. I am very happy with it.

Pros
  • Waterproof and drop resistant up to 1.5m
Cons
  • High price

Pros
  • Measures temperature from -50 to 280 degrees C (-58 to 536 degrees F) with an accuracy of + or - 0.4 degrees C
Cons
  • not reliable
