This specimen (I ordered this on the recommendation of Paul Sellers) arrived at my home with dents on the grip just below the head AND a gray - soft face - cracked in three places Hammer was sold once ; used, damaged and returned by this buyer; then they sent it to me. BUT THE DAMAGE WAS NOT REPAIRED. Quality control problem? Lack of attention to detail? Creepy administration? I do not know. I didn't notice this until I peeled off the polish, otherwise it would come back again. **** Check it…

Pros

Paul Sellers recommended this

I am a hand tool woodworker and was looking for a different hammer. Paul Sellers recommended this. I've been using it for two years now and really love it. So much so that I have absolutely no interest in getting another hammer. This is about the third of four tools I have purchased and recommended by Paul Sellers. All of his recommendations are for excellent tools. Another Stanley knife he recommends. I tried a few marking knives before I got the one he recommended. Again I had a marking knife

Pros
  • This is great
Cons
  • Requires socket

The weight of this hammer is EXACTLY what you need to hit gouges, chisels, pins, etc. However, the white and gray sides offer the flexibility to hit hard or soft, non-scratching surfaces (white is…

Pros
  • Quality construction
Cons
  • Vanish

When I first saw Paul Sellers recommending this hammer, it immediately caught my attention. I have multiple hammers - wood, brass, scratchproof, whatever - and I don't really need another hammer in my workshop. But what impressed me about this hammer was the number of interchangeable faces, as well as the number of sizes and configurations. I chose the wooden handle version, with a hard white finish on one side and a soft, scratch-resistant gray finish on the other. I bought a few other…
