These are horrible socks and the quality is nowhere near the typical Thorlos. I've been (and have been) wearing regular Thorlos hiking socks for over a decade and love the quality and fit. Nothing better. Of course I tried this model and they are terrible. They don't hold their shape, the fit is flimsy and borderline, the material is ugly after a single wash, and overall a poor quality product. Not even close to a regular product from this company. I have been a Thorlos customer for almost 20 years. I wear them summer and winter with my black uniform boots (public safety/first responders). I don't really like these. It's not that they're particularly bad, I've just been using the LTH version for years and they're amazing. Compared to them, yes. Fits but is smaller than others. These socks are perfect! I used to read water meters, and the city gave 10 pairs of such meters for free every year, and we needed them. We ran 10-15 miles every day so the socks took a lot of wear. They fit as expected. I wear size 9 medium/regular shoes and they fit as expected. They are slightly thicker than Thorlo's hiking socks, so they fit snugly when wearing your shoes. Big Thorlos have arrived and they fit well. I sent back the Mediums (6-8.5) because they were too tight on the legs; The large ones fit my height 9ft exactly so be careful. The oversized socks also feel short (measuring 11 inches from the bottom to the top of the sock) and the tight fit around the shin doesn't feel durable.
