Not worth the price. After the second wash, the bedding turned out like the picture. True 800 thread count reeds do not. Please buy elsewhere, it's better to spend money.

WRONG! So these sheets are not pocket deep. They didn't even reach 14" as you can see in the photo. Complete dishonesty in their description. If you looking for deep handkerchiefs look elsewhere, if you are looking for regular sized handkerchiefs this is good, they are thick, relatively soft and seem to last a while.

These are excellent five star sheets. They're a little "tough" out of the box, but two washes in the washing machine (with extra fabric softener) and they were ok. Cotton is breathable, and a thin thread is especially luxurious. The fitted sheet pockets are very deep and easily fit on our mattress. And the color is rich and consistent. I plan to buy another set before they find out how good they are and raise the price.

I don't know why these sheets get such high reviews. I suspect it has something to do with the seller asking for reviews in exchange for free extra pillowcases. They are described as fitting an 18" mattress. Sizing elsewhere then lists them as 15" pockets. I would rate them somewhere between 15 and 18 inches deep. I don't find them particularly soft and can't say for sure, but I don't think it's 800 threads as advertised.

The sheets stank when I took them out of the suitcase. I noticed they were very rough and resembled Brillo pads. I washed them according to the instructions (cold water) and tumble dried them (low). I took them out of the dryer and they were very wrinkled and still looking like a Brillo pad. These sheets are not Egyptian cotton and the thread count is not 800 despite the advert. I spent $60 on these sheets and am checking with Revane to return them.

I have a bachelor's degree in textile design from Boston University and a good magnifying glass. So I counted the threads and got 272 in total. That's a far cry from what's advertised as 800 threads per inch. I'm sure they count the individual threads that make up each thread, or they just make that number out of thin air. Also, the hems on the pillowcases are done before the side seams are sewn, so some ugly overlock stitching goes all the way to the top of the pillowcase and is even poorly…

You will never buy a sheet again. Our friends, my husband and I discovered sheets about five years ago at a very well known bed and breakfast in New England. When we went to bed that night we both said what the heck, sheets. The next day we asked the owner of the guesthouse what the sheets were. She told us she ordered them from comfy and that she could get them for us. I have since bought them for every member of my family and twice for myself. I think it's important to mention that IF you like cotton bedding you will love this bedding. I can't speak for everyone but my impression from some of the negative reviews is that people are complaining about the average quality cotton sheets.
