OptiTherm Hygrometer 🌡️ and Weather Predictor by Throntex Review

I am using this device in a vertical room where it tells me the temperature in a 5x9 room. It was extremely accurate and depending on the timing settings the battery life lasts quite a while. But not as long as stated. I currently have it set to update every 6 hours and this setting says the battery should last 2 years. But I found it lasted about a year. For me it's still a lot. I would buy it again without hesitation.

This product is great. I was specifically looking for a WiFi temperature and humidity sensor rather than Bluetooth because I want to place one in my cabin and Bluetooth devices don't work remotely. I need something that connects directly to WiFi and doesn't require a gateway. or any additional hub. This product does what I need very well and has an extra amazing mold growth prediction feature! Setup was easy and the app is very well done. You can set up a recording as soon as every minute.

I bought this after leaving the freezer door open twice all day. Installation was quick and easy following the instructions on their website. You can choose how often it syncs with their servers, but it will connect and send you a text message and an email if the temperature falls outside of the range you set.
