PC Flying Clamp by Thrustmaster Review

Clamp does not fit on the base of the warthog. It keeps sliding because the legs can't catch on the metal. I return one but keep the other for my TWC choke which works a lot better than just sitting on the table.

I like the fact that this article is well done but Thrustmaster mentions in the Airbus A320 manual that you can combine 2 throttle quadrants with quadrant add ons but these Clamp does not fit in this configuration. I contacted them and they said they don't plan to offer an expansion kit (2 metal plates). I find that very disappointing.

I ordered 2 of these, assembled and installed. They are durable and extremely easy to assemble, making the joystick and throttle much easier to use. They take up a lot of space on my desk but I'll sort that out when I get a new one. I've seen them elsewhere at Revain for $119 and am very glad they were available for the price listed here.

I have a pair for my main FCS system. The mount is broken down into four parts, and the platform allows you to adjust the height within a decent range. When assembled, it feels extremely solid and heavy with well-executed craftsmanship. The only oddity is that you have to install the first set of foam pads yourself, which can be tricky depending on how good you are at tight spots.
