Overall good, but expected more.

Despite the fact that the device looks very good, it has a pleasant and high-quality plastic case, as well as good quality buttons with toggle switches (it is very pleasant to switch them tactilely))) . its main elements, i. E. The handles are not as high quality as the rest. ORE has the ability to tighten both knobs, but even that didn't help. One will still be tighter. And the other in the lower positions does not even really stay in place and constantly slides down. There are no complaints…

Pros
  • + Plastic case + Quality of buttons, toggle switches + Support in DCS + Versatility (if I may say so)
Cons
  • - Disgusting quality plastic handles - Different stroke at the handles even at maximum weight - Price for such quality (subjectively)

It's not all bad, an average quality purchase.

Having connected the throttle, I saw a Windows message that the device was not recognized. Sometimes, however, by shaking the product, it was possible to make it work. Not for long, really. It became clear that the problem is hardware. Many users abroad have already encountered this. For example, on the MSFS 2022 forum there were a lot of sufferers with a similar problem (look for the topic "TCA Throttle Quadrant USB device not recognised"). A solution was also found here: foreigners…

Pros
  • In general - an interesting product for fans of virtual flights on the A320 (including me).
Cons
  • 1) The replica is made in 8:10 size (80% of the real size). What for? Really it was impossible to make an honest size 1:1? :-) 2) A large percentage of marriage in early batches! The product does not work out of the box! And it's epic fail.

Two of them were wrong!

I ordered the first of these updated. It didn't help, I sent it back and ordered a new one. Same problem with the new one. Both throttle quadrants advanced the throttle when I shifted it down. It's unrealistic that two of them could have the same problem, but for me, two of them did.

Pros
  • I hold my fists
Cons
  • So-so

Works well in MSFS 2020

This throttle works very well with the FBW A320 in Microsoft Flight Simulator. It also works well with other aircraft. The only problem I have is when I'm not using it on the A320 and the installed latches tend to move up or down depending on position when not in the installed latch. I recommend it. Well done choke.

Pros
  • Satisfied so far
Cons
  • Stock

Frequent shutdowns

Overall I like the design. If it works, it's great. The problem is that it frequently disconnects, sometimes just a few seconds after I plug it back in. Sometimes it works for an hour, no problems. But most of the time the connection is broken and restored. Although I may have gotten a lemon. It's frustrating.

Pros
  • Certified
Cons
  • Low maintainability

Not bad but not great

fur. Detents should be smaller, switches should be on/on, not on/off. When mounted on a desk, your hand rests on the switches, which is an inconvenience. There needs to be some sort of gas lock to connect the two handles together. For example, the ability to remove the reverse lock. Overall not bad for the price but could do significantly better with better switches and knobs.

Pros
  • Good product for the price
Cons
  • Everything is fine for the old

Great addition to MS Flight Simulator, great finish

I bought Thrustmaster TCA to use with Microsoft Flight Simulator and it really makes a big difference, just playing with the joystick is not very difficult, but doesn't feel real. With this supplement he feels much better. Colors, switches, looks like a real cockpit and I know what I'm talking about, I've been to flight simulations and cockpits from the A320, A330, A340 and A350, that's the Airbus feeling. Doesn't feel flimsy or fragile and is great value for money.

Pros
  • Annual testing period
Cons
  • Almost never

Unreliable and overpriced

Right now my choke is useless. It is often not recognized by Windows, which reports "The last USB device plugged into this computer is defective and is not recognized by Windows". Sometimes when I change ports and cables, they are recognized and this gave me the opportunity to update the firmware one day. And sometimes it works for 10 or 15 minutes and then I hear the USB disconnect/connect beep and of course it goes back to "faulty and not recognized". So I'm trying to see if I can get a…

Pros
  • Large selection
Cons
  • Big and bulky

Small but mighty - Accessories

I bought a master joystick and just a throttle after a long-awaited obsolescence. As soon as I got it I saw it was SMALL, I thought it was the same size as a joystick, but NO, it's SMALL like the length of a 60oz coke bottle. Anyway, I love it, I'm very concerned about my desk space and the fact that it's not bulky saves space and it's amazing in simulation. I have an Xplane 11 and it works great with the Airbus products that are on the market. Can't wait to use it more as I fly across the…

Pros
  • Quick change
Cons
  • Infinitely sluggish

A bit of realism for an Airbus plane.

I like the Airbus joystick. Therefore, obtaining the TCA quadrant was not difficult. I admit that my digital Airbus experience is extremely limited and I mostly fly single engine aircraft. How does this quadrant add to the joystick's already excellent performance? Well, as I've found, it really depends on what you fly most. The quadrant itself is made out of some kind of durable plastic and is fairly light. Although I would like a heavier base. The keys are mostly pressed and responsive. The…
