Steering wheel material defect

After the first day of using the Thrustmaster leather steering wheel, I was very disappointed to find that the yellow center line was already starting to peel off. After it started peeling off I tried using gloves thinking it was the sweat on my hand but it ended up only getting worse. The threads begin to tear near the yellow center mark. Stock difference

Wheel received a day early! Huge difference in feel, texture, weight. Playing with it at DriveClub can actually give you better road feel and traction to drift or skid in getter control corners. While the button layout matches the color, identification would be nice so you don't have to figure out what's what when you change the button configuration. I love the central yellow line! A game changer for any Thrustmaster wheel.

Quality needs improvement

I also have the 599xx Evo steering wheel got bearing 458 Italia wheels for my base TX and I have since sold them and bought this TM 28 GT. The 599XX was amazing, I hate suede wheels. Thrustmaster WILL MAKE A ROUND LEATHER WHEEL SIZE 599XX. I didn't like the flat bottom and suede material and chunky cross. Honestly, Italia was just a new bike. Must have if you have wheelbase and rim TX

I've had my Thrustmaster 458 Italia TX base for about a year and a half, but soon after I got it the "novelty" of being able to drive Forza hypercars went away and I wanted more sims. Surprisingly, it wasn't all that long ago that all of these TX-compatible add-ons were available to buy online, and I was more than ready to upgrade.
