    Almost perfect for cycling

    It doesn't get any better than this. Installation literally took 10 minutes including unboxing! It used to (regular straps) get my board to the bars in 15 minutes, now I throw it in a SUP taxi and I'm up and about in 5 minutes max. I find myself sitting down more often just because it takes a lot less time to detach and reattach. My only regret is that I didn't buy it sooner.

    Good product, suitable for car parking, transport and storage

    I have no comparison with other similar products. Have never used it. The only problem I had was threading the strips to secure the board. The strip itself has a hard center that slides back making it almost impossible to get the ends through the holes. Once we figured it out, it works fine. Just push the hard center back to the end of the strip, similar to a drawstring in a pair of sweatpants :)

    Don't worry when you drive down the highway!

    I bought this Thule SUP Taxi for my new 11ft 6" ISLE Voyager hard paddle (which I LOVE!). It's very easy to put on and take off the board and it's very secure when it's moving. Although the straps 'lock' with the board on top I wouldn't leave it unattended as there are only straps and a thief she can cut and take my board (ruins the straps/stand too.) But for a 60+ surfer these racks are damn good!

    Holds my two boards

    One thing I haven't considered is that since I'm about 6" taller, it will be more difficult to pull my board up must lift to release the top. There is some wind noise but I'll get used to it. They don't seem as stiff (moving back and forth) as I thought, but I don't think it's going anywhere. It holds my boards, the straps are very secure. I love the locking feature when I go out to eat after paddling or whatever, I'm sure my boards won't get stolen. Delivery took a couple of weeks which was a…

    EXACTLY what we needed!

    Thank you Thule for simplicity and peace of mind! When we first used a freighter, we used this product to transport my 11ft SUP to a lake house in 12 hours. As you can see from my title, we are very happy with the purchase. Great quality product, very easy to fit to the car and once strapped in the front we didn't have to adjust the whole drive! I was also impressed by how little, if any, noise there was while driving in the truck! I have already recommended this carrier to several friends…

    Terrible surfboard design

    Thule screwed it up by replacing a two tier surfboard stand with this super taxi. Although it is indicated that he will be carrying the surfboard, he does so in a very casual and unsafe manner. It's too wide and loose. My surfboard is 9'6" 24" wide and it's loose as sin. Thule 809 was much better. This is not a surfboard holder. would probably be fine to hold 2 surfboards, but I don't always need 2 boards. So I'm disappointed in Tulem, I have 3 double deckers on my other cars.     Not comfortable for women.

    I like that the board is secure. I forgot the board was attached and realized I was going 80mph, looked at the board and we buzzed straight ahead. No, not very good things. I'm sure this is a great fact for someone who is at least 5ft 5in tall. I am a small woman, 5 feet tall. I would like to buy an Inno-Rack.
