Great dispenser for syrup/honey etc

Have been serving honey for months - love it - doesn't leak - needs a wipe down from time to time if someone in the house uses it carelessly . High quality and durable glass. It's good to have a jar to warm up the honey in hot water as it thickens. Would buy again - can be used for any type of liquid - cream, syrup, any liquid - good lid to keep bugs out when outside for picnics etc. Would buy again!

Always licks good for catering gear and supplies

Expensive product so I was particularly disappointed to find syrup/honey leaking from this jar. You can wipe the pouring area and the whole part of the jar after use and you will still have honey on the bottom after you put it away. I have no idea why that is, but we are very disappointed. We use it for honey and we always put the jug on the shelf next time we use it, no matter how thoroughly we clean the outside including the top.

I was very happy with this syrup dispenser at first, but after a few months the lid started to rust. I hand washed it upon arrival and then immediately poured syrup over it. It is used at home so it took us a few months to refill it. When I took the cover off I noticed that the metal was starting to rust (see photo). It doesn't seem safe to continue using, so unfortunately we had to throw it away. I would not recommend this product.

Ideal for dosing homemade vanilla flavoring!

I love it my husband loves to make "Italian Cream Soda" and bought $6 Torrani vanilla coffee flavors and ate them too fast for my liking. 8 decided I could easily make a vanilla flavor and use it to store and dispense the flavor. I make 1 cup sugar, 1 tablespoon brown sugar, and 1 tablespoon real vanilla. Boil sugar and water until dissolved, cool slightly and add vanilla. Tastes great and is significantly cheaper for our purposes! Even if you haven't tried Italian cream soda, I recommend it…

Not suitable for honey stored in the cupboard. ant trap!

We have been using it as a honey distributor for about 6 months. Although it doesn't spill on its own, honey will always remain on it after use, which we need to wash off before putting it in the cupboard. A new problem—and the reason I'm writing this review for others—is that it can't possibly be airtight and pest-free. We keep it in our closet with other items and other things are fine. However, this morning we found about 20 large ants in the honey! I have no idea how they got into the…

I FINALLY FOUND WHAT I NEED!

I have been buying honey and maple syrup in bulk from local farms for a long time. I was trying to find a honey dispenser that didn't require me to dip a knife or spoon into it. Honey lasts forever if you don't contaminate it with foreign substances (especially those with water in it). I tried the bamboo spoon in a glass jar, which I really enjoyed, but was disappointed at how patient I had to be to allow the honey to drain from the dripper without actually touching the spoon to the toast, the…
