Description of 🔌 TICONN Connectors: Waterproof Automotive Electrical - Superior Performance Guaranteed

【PREMIUM QUALITY】: Thick copper barrel ensures strong secure crimping every time, providing minimal voltage drop, high current flow, and less heat. These will prevent short circuits and problematic wiring that inferior connectors are known for. 【DURABILITY】: Each butt, ring and fork terminal features a thick tinned copper barrel that resists corrosion to hold the wire tight when crimped. The barrel is created from one piece of copper that eliminates the problem of the barrel opening. Your wire will never slip out of the connector. 【WATERPROOF】: Insulation tubing has unique dual-walled design. High quality 3:1 shrinkage tubing has a heat-activated sealant lining to provide a 360-degree secure seal. It's flame-retardant, waterproof, and can be used underground. 【WIDE APPLICATIONS】: Compliant with all electrical standards, Perfect for marine and automobile applications, whether you are working on your boat, Vehicle, Home or scientific project, our electrical crimp connector will ensure strong watertight seal to make sure everything bond correctly. 【TYPE and SIZE】: The connector assortment includes red, blue and yellow connectors that can be used on wire AWG from 22 to 10. Five connector types: butt connector, ring connector (stud size: #10, 1⁄4’’, 5/16’’, 3/8’’), female quick disconnect connector, male quick disconnect connector and fork connector (stud size: #10) are packaged in each connector kit.

They will not work with same brand crimping tools

They will not work with the crimping tool they come with. I tried each connector size multiple times, none of them were crimped.

Pros
  • One Year Trial
Cons
  • Exchange Availability

Various sizes

Various sizes are great for all my projects. We reassemble the trailer and remove rusty joints and seals from the weather.

Pros
  • Solid surface
Cons
  • Blank

Not bad, but only for hobbyists, not professionals

Metal ferrules are quite short. They paste but for cost and simple projects they will do but not professional work. I would only recommend a hobby. But I think cost dictates value in this case and was pretty cheap.

Pros
  • Excellent design
Cons
  • Not the best

Great but had some issues

I bought this product to help with some wiring changes I was making and those parts are solid. There are no construction problems at all. The only problem I had was with the heat shrink tubing. The plastic is really thick and it takes a lot of heat to shrink properly. The heat gun wasn't enough for me, so I grabbed a lighter. Which, if done properly, works. Maybe I should invest in a better heat gun haha

Pros
  • Handsfree
Cons
  • Expensive

Not great, but you get what you pay for

If you've never used marine shrink connectors you might think they're great, but if you have experience with quality connectors - e.g. If If you use Ancor marine connectors, you will be disappointed. The crimp metal is lower quality and has less surface area, so it's difficult to make a perfect crimp like Ancor's when using Ancor tools. You can make a regular crimp, but if you look closely you most likely tore the shrink wrap around the crimp area. I would use them for non-marine projects or…

Works great - perfect as advertised!

I bought this kit to wire up my escort/pilot car. Some connections had to be on the outside of the car and some on the inside, both worked as advertised, watertight, sealed to the end of the barrel (with glue that even extends past the end, just a tiny bit) when a heat pistol is used. and most importantly - keep those electric juices going! I even dunked the plug in water to see if it was airtight - good luck! What about the buyback? I was reminded to write this review while out shopping to…

Pros
  • This is amazing
Cons
  • I won't say anything

Not recommended for AWG 22 wires.

The specs say this product is worth the money, but the 22 AWG stranded wires I tried to crimp didn't hold up to the 3 AWG 22-18 spade connectors I tried. At that point I was afraid that I would run out of the original wires for the LED lights that I installed on my motorcycle. However, I was able to successfully crimp the ring connector to the same wire to ground, so it wasn't the wire and probably not me. I used the new Klein tools for both stripping and crimping, so the tools weren't a…

Pros
  • Great!
Cons
  • Expensive

I cut 6 types of terminals that fell into my range. Despite claims in the Ticonn sales literature, I have not been able to find any 12-10 terminals with a 1mm body. As you can see from the photos, the barrels are 0.44mm in diameter based on the Mitutoyo Absolute Origin caliper. I chiseled through the pewter and underneath was a shiny, silvery metal that wasn't magnetic. I believe they were stamped from thin stainless steel. "Each connector has a thick body of tinned copper" - they're not thick,

Pros
  • Cool product
Cons
  • Something different

They are heat shrinkable but NOT marine grade as advertised.

These connectors are fine for general dry use but definitely not as good as other connectors advertised for marine use that I have used. These connectors have shrink caps, but the plastic is very stiff and takes much longer to shrink under the heat gun, has little internal adhesive to make a watertight seal, and fully solidifies after cooling. melt quickly at lower temperatures and remain soft and flexible after cooling. I also cut several connectors and none of them contained copper inside. So

Pros
  • Nice
Cons
  • Obsolete
