They made a big difference

They were bought for use on a jet ski. The carpets are light and much smoother than the indoor/outdoor carpet it replaced.

Who needs a boatmate?

This is a godsend for the solo sailor. Before that I had to practically float on my 14 foot boat to get on the water. Now I can get him out of bed with a lot less time and effort. Installs in about 15 minutes.

Great for aluminum boats

Great for trailer sleepers. I have John's aluminum boat that doesn't like to slide off the trailer. This solves the problem. Also this item comes with stainless steel screws for easy assembly. Phillips screws.

Easy to install on my boat trailer and replace some of them.

Installs easily on a boat trailer and replaces some old broken slicks. Not sure how long they will last, but much easier to launch and raise my boat with them on trailer moorings.

Pros
  • Feels good
Cons
  • Minor issues

Not for GRP boats

Bought again after coming off the berth. Ideal for aluminum boats. Better than carpet that stays wet and rots on bunks. Suggest to use more suitable screws and silicone sealant. Depending on the angle of the ramp, your boat may slide while descending. Use a bow strap or safety chain.

Pros
  • Slightly over
Cons
  • Weight

never disappointed. They make loading and unloading easier

I have had several of these sets and have never been disappointed. They make loading and unloading child's play. I offer a caveat: when going down a steeper ramp, leave the winch strap engaged and the winch locked until the boat and trailer are in the water to prevent your boat from slipping off the trailer prematurely.

Pros
  • Pleasant to use
Cons

Great upgrade to a carpeted bunk.

Exactly what I was looking for at a great price. They are suitable for the narrow side of a 2x4 or 2x6 berth. There is another model of floor boards that lie horizontally. They are very smooth and appear to be very durable. Leave the winch strap or turnbuckle attached until the water is directly in front of the water. These things are so slippery that if you stop too hard on the ramp, some boats can skid instantly. Won't retain dirt like carpet and scratch the case. They don't need to be dipped

Pros
  • Regular price
Cons
  • Not bad
