    It's just not worth it. best in tie clips

    finally got a chance to try this out. Fishing line and my eyesight usually don't mix. This tool actually looked like a good move. "No" made it even more painful. If you can learn two or three knots, you will succeed. Also add a quick release knot to your rig. The San Diego Jam is a great knot for a quick change. Or just plain old Palomar.     The best knot and knot tying tool ever made!

    I love this tool and wouldn't go fishing without it. Perfectly knits large hooks and knots on nails. I've tried so many different ways to hook the hook without an external cord and this makes it easy. You can also fish directly off your main line with very little line loss. Preferably 4 inches. This is an amazing tool. I have all three models and I love them all!

    Makes tying knots faster and easier

    Agree with other reviews that knot tying instructions are almost useless. I think the company should create a 10 minute youtube tutorial video and just send a link with the tool. There are currently great videos on YouTube if you just type in "quick knots”. In 1-2 tries I can quickly and easily make nails and modified nail knots to attach the bow tie to the stole as well as tie the stole to the leash.     I had to increase the length of tool

    . I started practicing with this and after several tries I was pulling these coils out of the tool like a pro. After working with it for a while I noticed my pinky and the next finger started to hurt a little. I decided that the 4" length of the tool was too short for my grip, so I took two popsicle sticks and glued them to either side of the tool to extend it 2" longer to fit all of my fingers. .Now I can use it without pain and tie any fishing knot I will ever need.     It works and it's easy.

    Haven't had a chance to use it for fishing yet, but I've tied many knots with - fly tying, line splicing, line to line. It works out. My own eyes and hand don't work the way they used to. With this tool, I don't struggle with the leash to keep the loop on the visor open so I can put the end of the tag back through the loop that is being rotated.     Great tool but horrible paper chart

    The first time I tried to use the tool in an area with no cellular coverage, I had to rely on the paper chart that came with the tool. I spent at least 30 minutes with no luck. The woman spent another 15-20 minutes. We followed the pattern exactly, but it didn't work at all. When I later managed to watch a YouTube video, I was able to tie a nail, not on the first try, in just a few minutes. A must have tool for adding flies to a backing or new fly line without built in loops.

    Worth every penny! on jewelry

    Approx. So I love to fish but I hate knots. I mean I can make a few, but not fast. This knot tying tool is the answer. So far I've only knitted my own crochet hooks, but the knot turned out great. Just like the threaded hooks I bought. I admit that the instructions that come with it don't explain simply enough how to use it. But simply watching YouTube videos solved this problem. Hooked my fist hook on the first try. Brilliant!

After reading several reviews of similar products, I chose this one as it is made of steel and not plastic. When I received it I was really impressed with the stamped steel construction.
