Cats won't eat it - strong smell too

% Protein looks good and Tiki is a good brand of wet food but unfortunately my cats won't eat this dry food. They will bite off small bites when they are really hungry, but then they would rather lose weight than continue eating. The smell is also stronger than most cat foods. Your mileage may vary, but I definitely spent some money on this feed. It seems that "high protein" dry cat food (Acana, Orijin, now that) is not palatable to my cats.

Noticeably better for my cats

Well after years of using a brand that was supposed to be grain free I've noticed that my cats are having more problems after eating. The brand I used changed their recipe to include wheat and corn in the first three ingredients. So after a lot of research I discovered Tiki Cat Food and was seriously impressed by how quickly this food improved my cats' feeding time. My furries no longer have digestive or allergy issues. It seems pricey considering the amount of food you get, but I think the…

Great quality great price

Cooper loves it! I did a lot of research on his food after buying him another brand for a long time and found that the ingredients are not that great. I want to give him the best I can afford and that was a great option. He doesn't like wet food, so it has to be dry. It smells strongly of dry food, but that doesn't bother me and I see it as a sign of quality anyway. In any case, it takes quite a while and the cost is $15/month and I really have no complaints as buying something of lower quality

Pros
  • Delivery was very quick
Cons
  • Some imperfections

Good so far, cheap for drying

Seems to be good, cheap food for my cat. I received a 5kg bag of chicken and fish and am a bit concerned about the significant discrepancy in analysis and calories printed on the bag and listed online. However, it still appears to be good food. I feed for free and my 12 lb indoor bitch eats 16 ounces per day which means a 10 lb bag of food will last 75 days at a cost of $0.60 per day which is a lot cheaper than wet food same quality that costs about $4 a day. The smell of the food is sometimes…

Decent quality cat food - high calories = lower price

I've been putting my cat on this dry tiki for a few months now. she is fine A few things to watch out for: - High calorie content compared to standard cat food so I only have to feed my cat 1/3 cup instead of 1/2 cup which means it's a lot cheaper than the price initially shines - The scent is very "fresh" in the sense that it smells strong but is in no way repulsive; This is in contrast to popular cat food which has an off-taste/dumpster-like odor as opposed to the natural fishy odor that dry…

$80 price increase in just 1 month

FYI (read this before you buy) I love this cat food and my cats do too and more importantly these are the best ingredients I have been able to find dry food. Ingredients for what I thought were the best and settled on this brand and flavor (chicken, herring, salmon) and bought an 11 lb bag for $49.90 and now it's time to buy more, but now the price is 128$ for this flavor in just 1 month. . THAT'S $80 MORE! I agreed $49.90 because that's my budget. For me it's unrealistic. I bought 2 fragrances

Pros
  • Handy item
Cons
  • Lots of stuff

All three cats eat it and I love that it's nutritious

I have three cats with three different tastes so it can be difficult to find healthy food that they all eat. Everyone eats this dry food without any problems. The pieces are small so even my adult cat can easily chew and swallow them. I always check CatFoodDB (database) to see how foods are rated in terms of ingredients and nutrients. This product gets a 5 out of 5 paws (paws is their rating system) for ingredients and 4 out of 5 for nutrition, for a total of 9 out of 10 paws. I try to feed my…

Perfect. Best of Cats

I ordered this on the 19th August and they had run out on the 9th September for a 5lb kitten. I expected it to last longer but was surprised it lasted long enough. When wet or mixed with wet food, it keeps moving. For the first 2 weeks I mixed it with both water and wet food due to her age but feeding a 5lb cat just this won't last that long. But feeding both wet and dry is expensive. Food expands easily when water is added, so don't eat less food because when you add water, this food doesn't…
