Ultimate Protection: Tillman 6230 Firestop Welding Jacket Review

Bought this as a gift for a beginner welder. He said it protected him from burns and tears in his clothing, but it was very hot to wear and he probably would have preferred sleeves. At the same time, it is made of high quality material and easy to clean.

This is the same style of jacket I've worn for more years than I can ever remember. It can be used for all metalwork without fear of catching fire when you pick up your welding helmet. Not as good as leather but much cooler and lighter. The processing is good.

Not as chunky as older leathers, but good for not too much spark arresting cloth} such as with TIG welding or light MIG work. Good safe product.
