Great for building containerized environments

The ability to build containers off of prebuilt images (such as Docker Hub). It's easy enough that junior devs can get up & running with it quickly, but powerful / scalable once you start working in them more deeply. I also like how they have multiple ways/methods through which users interact wtih their platform - from an API client perspective this is great since we are able to use one set code base across all platforms where applicable. Honestly at first glance not much! Again though there…

Pros
  • Ease of learning curve.
  • Ability for user interaction via APIs available within each system or environment type used throughout application architecture.+ Easy integration into existing applications if necessary+ User friendly GUI interface + Good support community online,
  • Difficulties encountered while setting things straight
Cons
  • I will keep silent

A solid solution that gets outta your hair

The UI makes it really easy to add and manage nodes in Tilt, and the whole experience overall is very polished - including the web admin. The team behind Tilt is also constantly adding new features and improving the experience. It would be nice to have a way to easily roll back node additions from the UI if things go wrong. I've been using Tilt to manage several Kubernetes-based nodes in production, which has been working well. It allows me to easily provision new nodes, manage container…

Pros
  • Easy onboarding; good documentation.
  • Works with many different clouds (Azure/AWS) without any additional work required by you as an end user or developer! Yay!! :)
Cons
  • Not completely clear how exactly resources are created when we update our values
  • If something goes horribly awry during creation / deletion then there isn't necessarily going make anything better at that point i
