Type of review

Amazing value. Compared to other affordable focus systems out there, you get a lot for your money with this kit. I’m not sure why Tilta didn’t just offer a third motor version of this however that’s not a big deal. The build quality is solid from top to bottom. My only two issues are:1. Ease of setup: the whole menu system is very finicky but once you’ve set it up you (usually) good to go from there on. I’ve had the hand controllers lose their settings once during a shoot when I powered…

Pros
  • Lenses
Cons
  • Limited Range: The wireless connectivity of the Nucleus-M has a limited range, which can be problematic for videographers working on large sets or in outdoor environments

NO BATTERIES ARE INCLUDED

Does not include any batteries in case anyone is wondering. I’m finding out the hard way. And the landward lock seems finicky and not secure.

Pros
  • Camera & Photo
Cons
  • Fragile: The Nucleus-M is made of delicate electronic components that can be easily damaged through rough handling or accidents on set

Awesome Experience - my new review

Shirley, my main contact over messages was awesome! She was super responsive and very helpful and patient with my questions about buying and getting this item from China. She got this item and many others within the next 2 weeks as I built the system out, promptly and as described. She also went the extra effort in getting custom cables made from Tilta themselves, something I couldn't even get Tilta in Burbank to do. Don't hesitate to order with White Wings and Shirley. They are legit.

Pros
  • Endless lens control options in the palm of your hand: The Nucleus-M allows you to wirelessly control the motors with either the FIZ hand unit or two handles. If desired, split the control between any of the possible control options for endless possibilities.
Cons
  • The Nucleus-M requires a significant learning curve to master its various functions, which can be time-consuming and frustrating for new users
