I'm used to work boots. I wear top brands. I read the reviews before purchasing these boots. Okay, first off, these boots are made out of man-made synthetic materials. This boot is very warm. You won't get away with wearing cheap regular socks while working in these non-insulated boots. Here, too, they are indeed particularly warm. Because of this, I updated my socks. Very nice and comfortable boots. I had the work boots from Dr. Martens and Keen before I bought them and both had cracked boot soles within a year of purchase.
