Very nice and comfortable boots. I had the work boots from Dr. Martens and Keen before I bought them and both had cracked boot soles within a year of purchase. I've had these Timberlands for almost two years now and there are two reasons I want to upgrade them: 1) I'm 5ft 8", my feet are pretty small and these boots are massive. They're almost like clowns. I have shoes on but I was willing to ignore them for 2 years because they are damn comfortable. 2) I'm on my feet about 8 hours a day, 5 days a week, and there's almost no footing. Wouldn't be a big deal if winter wasn't coming in Minnesota and I'd like some traction if everything is covered in ice in 2 months. If it were March I'd stay with these another 7 months. Another very minor issue that I had with these boots is that after the original insoles wore out to the point where they were no longer comfortable (about 1.5 years after purchase) I bought the Timberland insoles and got the exact same anti -Fatigue replaced them, and they were noticeably thinner towards the forefoot and never quite as comfortable as the originals. not because they are so bulky for my small stature, I would buy them 100 times more. That being said I will be replacing them with the Timberland Pro Helix HD 6" which seem better but less bulky. The product has been the most useful for a long time so I hope this helps someone make a decision about these boots .
