Really great bag, more space than you think

I've seen a lot of reviews saying it doesn't have a lot of storage space. When you receive the bag, it definitely looks small. I switched from one of SwissGear's huge sagging laptop backpacks to this one and used SwissGear for my computer and clothes on short trips. I've used this Timbuk2 for a computer and clothes and have to say the bag works well - the buckles at the bottom allow for expansion and the bag holds more than you would expect - but they also allow the bag to "come back" . "."…

Great business bag.

I've had a Timbuk2 messenger for about 8 years and it's showing no signs of wear after 30% travel domestically and internationally in varying weather conditions. I recently had a back injury so I decided to get a business backpack. I was arguing about other Timbuk2 or other brands. In the end I chose Timbuk2 because of my extensive experience with this brand. I chose authority and tried for a while. I hesitated because I thought it was too small for my large and long torso. However, the judge…

A nice backpack. Not very functional.

This is a 1 year review of this backpack.1. The main compartment is separated from the hard surface you rest the backpack on by only very thin material and offers no protection for anything inside the main compartment.2. The seams and seams of the laptop compartment leave marks on some surfaces of the laptop. The Microsoft Surface 2 laptop was noticeably worn after several weeks of transport in the laptop compartment under certain lighting conditions. The organizer is useless. The pockets are…

A very good quality. I really like the level of detail.

Very good quality. I love the level of detail on this bag. For example, the buckles on the bottom are made of a comfortable and durable material. Because they're at the bottom of the bag, they're more likely to fall off or break, so these buckles are more durable than those on the chest strap. Speaking of which, the chest straps can be removed for anyone who doesn't like/need them. There are small straps to hold other straps in place. The zippers have nice handles. There is a hidden pocket on…

Smallest 28L - Bags, Cases and Suitcases

Good design. You look good. But too small for me and not quite functional. This bag keeps its shape. Some bags are soft and fold up until full. This bag is made in the shape of an accordion. The front and back (strap side) are rigid and keep their shape. The main compartment can be expanded and folded like an accordion. That's both good and bad. - Good is style and looks. The bag looks very clean and tidy. The downside is that the bag is quite small. I can't believe this bag is 28 liters. If I…

Provides organization and comfort for tough trips

After 3 weeks of heavy business travel through remote villages, factories, city streets and various side adventures, I've become a big fan of Timbuk2. It was comfortable despite being loaded with heavy electronics, travel essentials, etc., even during a sprint or two between airport gates. Covered zippers keep dust out, while mesh vents keep it cool on the hottest days. Internal organization makes it easy to find everything and, more importantly, painless unload/reload at checkpoints. The water

Not true to size

I've spent a lot of time (and money) trying to find the best bag for me. I'm obsessed with Timbuk2 because I have colleagues who have and love them! I replaced the bag with wheels, it has served me well for many years! I needed something for my mobile office; Laptop and lots of accessories. When it arrived I thought it was a bit cramped as it might be for a backpack advertised as 28 litres. As I shifted my stuff from the old bag to the new one, expecting it to expand and reveal its true metal…
