🎒 Medium Jet Black Timbuk2 Muttmover Luxe Backpack Review

This bag is well made but quite heavy on its own. Then add 16 pounds of shitzu (which we did) and that's too much for any serious traveler. Maybe it would be more bearable if the straps weren't so itchy/scratchy... and in hot weather we don't want to wear a jacket or long sleeves. So - this bag is definitely not for us. Returned.

I bought this because it was highly recommended for dachshunds, but our dachshund did not have enough time to lie in it. Disappointed with the size because everything else looked great. Great zip placement and if our dog could lie down the side opening would be at a good height he could stick his head out without panting like some other backpacks we've seen.

I love this book bag! We used to have a K9 gym bag but my dachshund injured his back and we wanted something that didn't put pressure on his back. This works great because it allows him to lie down. It's a bit small for him, but it works! It sticks its head out of the side vent and occasionally sticks its paws out when it wants more air or is excited. Love it! I have a disabled dachshund. His hind legs are paralyzed. If I go for long walks or hikes, he wants to come with me. The sling I used hurt my shoulder and back. I was looking for a good backpack. It is great! It's durable but not too heavy. My dog can sit in it and look out through the side opening. I bought this backpack with the intention of carrying my dog when he gets too tired on a hike or when there are steep slopes that might be too hard for him back. In any case, he won't sit in it for too long. He seems uncomfortable sticking his head out at the top, but can stick his head out to the side in a seated position. The main improvement was the added strength of the Luxe backpack so it creates structure and doesn't sag on your dog.
